Vulkollan Tread & Cast Center at A Glance

The wheels use cast iron centre and a cast high-quality Vulkollan polyurethane-elastomer tread, which has a hardness of 92 Shore A. It also has a high dynamic load capacity and can be used at speeds up to 16 km/h with a reduced load capacity. The wheels are particularly resistant to abrasion and cuts and tear propagation. They also provide a low level of rolling resistance.

Additionally, these heavy-duty wheels can be supplied complete with metal insert made in 304 stainless steel, C40, Aisi 303 and aluminium, cast iron, and plastics such as Ertalon. We can provide metal rings in iron with diameters up to 880 mm. Made using calender, welding andlathe technigues, with tolerances which allow them to be fitted onto solid hubs, and coated up to adiameter of 1000 mm.
