Vulkollan® wheels

Vulkolan ® manufacturing process
Vulkolan ® It is a cross-linked elastomer that contains polyols (esters) and diisocyanates - naphthalene diisocyanate (NDI). Manufacturing is carried out in several stages through chemical reactions. This process is very precise and time-consuming. After carefully mixing the components according to the established formula, the material is cast in a preheated mold.
Depending on the thickness of the material, the post curing process requires several weeks of curing at room temperature (at least 25 ° C), interspersed with post curing at 110 ° C. The recommended post curing time is not allowed to have a negative impact on the quality of the components. Therefore, the delivery time should usually be 4-6 weeks.

Vulkolan ® Characteristics

Vulkolan ® It has many wonderful characteristics. Mechanical and dynamic characteristics are particularly prominent, often providing solutions in the most demanding applications. Vulkolan ® Having dynamic characteristics as a wheel material is one of its major advantages. In addition, it can also increase the applicability of high load capacity and high-speed applications.
We use Vulkolan on high-performance wheels ® Coatings, such as mills, free fall mixers, roller coasters, etc. Damping elements, scrapers, and plow blades are also other suitable applications.
